Marine Robotic Community of Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya or often called MRC PPNS. is a student organization that focuses on developing research and talent in the field of robotics at Shipbuilding Institute of Polytechnic Surabaya. From year to year, MRC PPNS has grown rapidly and become one of the leading student organizations and often provides many achievements to the campus.

One of the divisions in MRC PPNS is the Underwater Robot Division. This division was just formed in 2023, along with the creation of the underwater robot competition at the 2023 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI). This division has succeeded in developing the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) so that it managed to win 1st place Nationally and 4th place regionally at the 2023 KRI event. Then at the 2024 KRI event, this division won 2nd place nationally and 1st place regionally. Based on the research that has been conducted for 2 years along with the achievements that this division has achieved at the national level, we intend to continue to a higher level at the international level. Precisely at the Singapore Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Competition (SAUVC).
